About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Ramaiah College of Law, Bengaluru was instituted with the objective of streamlining the process of NAAC Accreditation and ensuring the highest standards of quality in all facets of the institution’s administration. The IQAC plays a pivotal role in shaping the college’s academic and administrative landscape, and its impact has been felt across all levels of the organization.
At its core, the IQAC is responsible for promoting a culture of excellence within the institution by fostering an environment of continuous improvement. The IQAC collaborates with various stakeholders, including faculty members, students, and administrative staff, to ensure that all processes and procedures are designed to meet the highest standards of quality.
One of the key functions of the IQAC is to develop and implement quality enhancement initiatives that are aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the institution. To this end, the IQAC works closely with other bodies, such as the Governing Council, Administration, Alumni, Industry experts, staff and the student bodies, to ensure that all quality initiatives are in concur with the broader institutional vision.

To create a culture of excellence through chronicling the progress of the institution expending markers of growth with quality enhancement and continuous self-improvement as the cornerstone.

To establish quality benchmarks in all aspect of academics and administration. To facilitate an environment of learning and self-improvement and stay abreast with the dynamic academic world.
Our Objective
The primary aim of IQAC is:
- To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
- To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
Our Functions
Some of the functions expected of the IQAC are:
- Development and application of quality benchmarks.
- Parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
- Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
- Collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
- Dissemination of information on various quality parameters to all stakeholders.
- Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
- Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement.
- Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
- Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality.
- Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit and its follow-up.
- Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC.
